Rust-Oleum Europe has opened a new distribution center in Genk, Belgium, dedicated to paint products and decorative plasterwork.

Central location guarantees high-performance delivery across Europe

Rust-Oleum Europe, manufacturer and distributor of lacquers, wall paints, and decorative plasters, is opening a new distribution center in Belgium, optimally designed to meet growing customer demand. Thanks to its central location, products from Rust-Oleum brands—SPS, Mathys, Rust-Oleum, Zinsser, Hoeka, Prinsen, and Finess—can be efficiently delivered throughout Europe.

New distribution center to distribute products starting October

Following the production site in Zelem, Rust-Oleum Europe will open a second Belgian base in Genk in October 2025. “Thanks to the central location of this distribution center, we can better respond to the fluctuating demands of our customers and manage our inventories more intelligently,” says Marc Van Nunen, Sales Director EMEA at Rust-Oleum Europe. “We are optimizing our delivery processes with the goal of remaining a sustainable, reliable partner for customers across Europe, including the Netherlands, France, Belgium, and Germany.”

Sustainable design across 30,000 square meters

The new distribution center covers an area of 30,000 m² and features 28 loading docks. Sustainability is central to the design: 200 ares of solar panels have been installed, along with 22 charging points for electric vehicles and bicycles. All of this contributes to a sustainable and future-oriented work environment. Furthermore, there is a focus on a positive work culture where employees feel respected and enjoy being part of the team. The distribution center also offers room for expansion to 60,000 m² to meet rapidly increasing future demand.
