Rust-Oleum Europe, manufacturer and distributor of lacquers, wall paints, and decorative plasters, is opening a new distribution center in Belgium, designed to meet the growing demand from customers. Thanks to its central location, products from Rust-Oleum brands such as SPS, Mathys, Rust-Oleum, Zinsser, Hoeka, Prinsen, and Finess can be delivered efficiently throughout Europe.

New distribution center operational from October.

Following the production site in Zelem, Rust-Oleum Europe will open a second Belgian hub in Genk in October 2025. “Thanks to the central location of this distribution center, we can better respond to fluctuating customer demand and manage our inventory more intelligently,” says Marc Van Nunen, Sales Director EMEA at Rust-Oleum Europe. “We are optimizing our delivery processes with the goal of remaining a sustainable, reliable partner for customers across Europe, including the Netherlands, France, Belgium, and Germany.”

Sustainable design on 30,000 square meters.

The new distribution center covers an area of 30,000 m² and features 28 loading docks. Sustainability is central to its design: 200 ares of solar panels have been installed, along with 22 charging points for electric vehicles and bicycles. All of this contributes to a sustainable, future-oriented work environment. There is also a focus on a positive work culture, where employees feel respected and enjoy being part of the team. The center also offers space for expansion up to 60,000 m² to meet the rapidly increasing demand in the future.
